    The Billing Coordinator/Credentialing Officer is responsible for the completion of billing for REACH Counseling and CJ Hendry, including the initial claim submission and follow up with clients and insurance companies. This position also has a key role in maintaining the data in the EHR system for both companies, including the completion and accuracy of client records, the accurate recording of the billing information for services rendered, and the maintenance of insurance plans in the system.

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience     

    • Minimum Bachelor's degree or previous experience is preferred

    Responsibilities

    • Submit all claims for services rendered by REACH Counseling and CJ Hendry
    • Coordinate with the Finance Director on a regular basis to identify late accounts and develop action steps
    • Maintain accurate account and billing records for clients
    • Respond to client and/or insurance inquiries regarding billing
    • Post insurance and cash payments to client accounts
    • Verify client insurance eligibility and benefits
    • Panel and contract CJ Hendry and/or REACH Counseling employees with insurance companies
    • Manage provider CAQH and NPI profiles
    • Manage coding and activity setup within the EHR software
    • Continue to stay informed with new Ohio mental health laws that effect billing
    • Manage and update all insurance contracts and licenses
    • Assist in training staff in the EHR software
    • Manage EHR support for CJ Hendry
    • Assist in all administrative duties at CJ Hendry (i.e. opening and closing the office, answering phones, scheduling clients, client check in, assisting new clients, and any additional support to the office manager and counselors.)
    • Assist in monthly payroll report at CJ Hendry
