The Lead Custodian assists the maintenance staff in the upkeep and general maintenance of the facility(s). The Lead Custodian will work alongside the vocational staff, and the maintenance staff. Experience with a background in custodial services and basic maintenance is required. This is a part time, non-exempt position.

The Aide provides the specials education student with activities and experiences designed to help fulfill his/her potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. This is a part time, school year position.

Group Counselors will provide guidance and instruction in a partial hospitalization program for children and adolescents with mental health needs. Their primary responsibilities are to provide and coordinate daily group sessions, complete documentation on client progress, and ensure the overall quality of the program for clients on their caseloads. This program focuses on psychoeducation and skills development and requires the Group Counselor to adapt the curriculum to clients. In addition, as a member of the clinical team, the Group Counselor is a key member in ensuring the quality of the mental health services for clients.

Van Drivers are paid hourly and are responsible for driving clients on an agency owned vehicle to and from our sites located throughout the greater Akron/Cleveland area and on field trips to various locations. This position is a part-time hourly position, Monday through Friday. Ohio Department of Education Certification training will be provided by Education Alternatives.

The Intervention Specialist provides special education for students in the classroom to fulfill their academic, emotional, and social growth. Instruction is based on the core curriculum standards for the State of Ohio and curriculum is designed to meet the unique needs of each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).

The Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing individual and group counseling to clients in day treatment facilities.. Duties will include meetings with parents/guardians of clients ,school district personnel, county agencies and representatives from other mental health agencies for for purposes of intake, assessment, and treatment coordination. This therapist will see clients at the Ravenna and Kent locations.
